If you put yourself in her shoes, you would understand why she made that decision.(그녀의 입장을 이해한다면, 그 결정을 내린 이유를 이해할 수 있을 것입니다.)

Put yourself in someone else's shoes는 상대방의 입장에서 생각해보다. 상대방의 생각이나 감정, 상황을 더 잘 이해하기 위해  자신을 상대방의 입장에서 생각하는 것을 의미합니다.

1. If you want to be a good friend, you need to pick up on your friend's feelings and put yourself in their shoes.  
2. He couldn't understand why she was so upset until he put himself in her shoes.
3.  A: I just can't relate to her at all.
B: Why don't you try to put yourself in her shoes and see things from her perspective?

* relate to : 공감하다.
* perspective : n. 관점, 시각

Notes:  relate to

1. be relate to : ~와 관련되다, 연관시키다, 연결시키다.
